Is The Tea Baggers Attempt To Repeal The 14th Amendment A Precursor To Ethnic Cleansing?
Tea Baggers want to repeal the 14th amendment and retroactively make all descendants of immigrants non citizens. Then when these people are no longer afforded rights under the constitution the death camps will come. Germany revoked citizenship for the Jews before the holocaust. Make no mistake we better be ready for this threat.

I don't think anyone is trying to repeal the amendment. I think the issue is that some believe it is being misinterpreted and is not being applied as originally intended..

I think that the Tea Baggers are the next Nazis. I went to one of their rallies (OK, two) in Florida, and all I heard was "Hate the n*gger in the White House! The n*ggers have taken over!" I agree that government is broken, but Obama didn't break it! Bush/Cheney removed the checks and balances. I went to the rallies to see what they were about, and they are about white supremacy. Hatred is not what I seek. Justice and fairness is.

Well, the UK is ending birthright citizenship as well. The big difference is that in Germany they revoked citizenship of people that were already citizens. The bill isn't saying let's remove the citizenship of hispanics that are currently citizens. WAY different.

No. Tea baggers just want to deport children (esp. Hispanics) whose parents are not US citizens . But children have acquired citizenship by birth in America since the founding of Jamestown. As much as they would like it to think it would, simply repealing or re-defining the 14th amendment would not disenfranchise natural born citizens of foreign parents whether they are lawfully or unlawfully present at the time. (See below cases). Germany however, did not practice Jus Soli but had always practiced Jus Sanguinis (Law of the blood) so disenfranchising those of Jewish parentage, who the Nazis did not regard as being decended from "true Germans" was logical to them. Tea baggers will either cause Republican candidates to become more radical and lead to their defeat by moderates, or they will splinter the party and form a soon forgotten third party. The Ku Klux Klan polled a lot of votes in the 1920s by opposing rights for blacks and Italian immigrants (With Out PaperS), but how many members do they have today? Does anyone remember Ross Perot and the Reform Party?

So far, apparently, the Tea Party fanatics just want anchor babies banned from the 14th amendment. However, America has not had a history of rejecting people who are born here, although other countries do. My personal view is that it is unlikely that the 14th amendment will ever be overturned.

The Tea Party is not for the "repeal of the 14th Amendment", it is for the stopping of the rewarding of those that break the law and come here to have their "anchor babies". Why should anyone who breaks the Immigration laws, and comes here to have their baby be rewarded by then allowing them to stay here just because they had a baby here? They broke the law, and they should be sent back to their home country, baby and all. All the Tea Party wants is for sanity to be put into the laws and into the enforcement of the laws. How is that for "ethnic cleansing"? If anyone wants to come into this country, come in legally. That way you can enjoy the real happiness that can be found in this country. If America is so racist, why do they Mexican illegals continue to pay extremely high prices to the "coyotes" to sneak them into this country? My Great-grandparents immigrated here to this country from Denmark, legally, they came here for the freedom that this country offered. They did not have to hide and hope that no one found out that they were illegal. And we have benefited from them coming to this country legally. Most all legal American citizens can trace their heritage back to coming from another country. This is a country of "legal immigrants", not illegal, law breakers. America embraces immigrants, legal immigrants. We have no problem with anyone that has come here legally. Why do you lock your door at night, or for that matter lock it at all? If you really were for allowing "anyone" to come into this country, you would not lock your doors at all. But since you lock your doors proves that you do not want just anyone to come into your house anytime they want. The United States of America is my home, and I want the doors locked to protect my belongings. Since you have a problem with stopping illegals from coming into this country, and then you want to give them all the rights of an American citizen, then you really are a hypocrit when you lock your door at night. Because you are stopping someone from coming in and enjoying all the benefits that you have and are enjoying as an American citizen. So leave your doors unlocked, why are you being so unconsiderate of others?
